Every subsequent playthrough, I feel a little sicker and angrier every time I go through The Gallows.

THRASK: The Starkhaven mages are here without bloodshed. I wish it felt like more of a victory. Meredith ordered three Starkhaven mages executed at random. And this is why I can never side with the Templars, in any playthrough, ever.
I just don’t understand how people can argue that mages are worse than templars. Yes, mages can lose control and turn into dangerous abominations that kill people. The Templars? The Templars are in full control of themselves when they execute or Tranquil mages as an example, or beat and rape their prisoners wards. They don’t have being possessed by a demon as an excuse for acting so heinously.
